Short Stories
"Twin Lanes" - a piece of flash fiction delineating the final moments of a man's life. This story won 1st prize at FSU's Spooky Story Contest, judged by renowned horror writer Michael Arnzen, who stated that it was "the best premise of them all."
"The Rakers" - a piece of flash fiction focusing on a man's suspicion with the town's most recent reliance on an inhabiting religious group that seems a bit too helpful.
"Pavor Nocturnus" - a secluded loner is constantly troubled by night terrors, which are often populated by dreams of a horrific tragedy. When a dream analyst seeks him out via the precise directions of a young girl, our protagonist must discover if the dreams are indeed a link to another realm of reality.
"The Eviction" - a tale of a lonely old man who ponders the passing of his dear wife, Prudence, but, despite his woe, must now confront the eerie disappearence of his neighbors. Written originally in 1999 while I was in 10th grade.

The Organ Trade - PDF - a rogue hunter and trader of organs, Jack Byron, enlists in a government sponsored game designed to reduce population. The hunt, however, is for other human beings, and the rich benefit from the healthy organs that can be extracted from each kill. When Byron is confronted by a crazed rebel, he must decide what side to gun for.
